The article about Twitter as a marketing tool was great. Studios, producers, networks, and marketers are definitely trying to be quick to jump on the newest technology for information transfer but Twitter is lacking. With limited characters and a text-only format, Twitter loses it’s oomph. Take at look at Pinger. Pinger allows for marketers to do virtually the same thing as Twitter but in a much better medium – Voice. Using Pinger as a marketing tool allows for people to hear promotions from the actors themselves. Inflection, emotion, excitement, and personality all come through, something not possible through text. Best of all for these marketers: Pinger voice messages can be forwarded on to any other mobile phone, taking the content off-line and viral at no extra cost.
