Google Changing its Algorithm for 2008

A trend I have been seeing a lot within Google is social sites and their results sometimes ranking above other factual results like wikipedia and factual BASED relevant authority sites. I don’t necessarily think that wikipedia is 100% factually based but it is one of the largest and most trafficked sites on the web today with literally thousands of top rankings pages within the search engines. However there is a definite shift starting to emerge.

The ultimate guide to advanced searching within Yahoo, Google and MSN

Search Engines. You got to love ‘em! The time they save us from having to search through various books, magazines, newspapers, media guides, etc. They have blessed us with more time to be lethargic and lazy in front of our flat screen computer monitors, but that’s another post all in itself.
