Youtube changes their algorithm and features
Some of you may remember a post I did a ways back on searchmarketingstandard.com about YouTube marketing. It got a really good reaction from the industry and helped a lot of young and old video marketers learn about some great tools offered by Youtube in order to market your videos on them.
Recently I noticed a pretty important shift in the YouTube algorithm. This shift is directly correlated to sending and sharing videos with your friends. The old system allowed you to click on “share” when watching a video and send to ALL of your friends while the new system still allows you to send to your friends but only at 200 characters at a time. They have also removed the function to send to all of your friends at once.
Friend requests have also been limited with a time delay. No more opening up 20 windows and clicking ad friend.
Take a look at the new system below:
We recently had to deal with this and we have found a few other tools provided by YouTube that will still allow us the same results. I honestly think this is a great move by youtube to limit the amount of spam caused by users spamming their engine and I appreciate the new challange presented to us.
