So everyone is talking about the most recent SES san jose! These confrences are great to attend and this trip I was asked by SearchMarketingStandard.com to do podcasting interviews. I did a slew of people and some great interviews are going to be coming out. Let me give you a break down and blow by blow.

First things are first. Anyone who says they don’t learn anything from these conferences is an idiot. I hear people all the time telling me things like “I don’t need to go to a confrence to learn things I already know” or things like “Its the same ole $h1T”. Yes the material is consistent however there are always new classes and if you are tired of hearing the same stuff stop attending the fundemental tracks duh. I was interested in the clickz sessions as they where new and I have never been to any of them before. I was able to get some in depth information on branding offline and how to bring that online. Whenever I go to a confrence I will always take away SOMETHING. Weather its a new spin on an old trick, a new importance on my field like the true importance of centralized information and the weening of departmental organizations. Benchmarking is something I have been doing for years but being able to see how other professionals provide this service can open your eyes to new ideas. Something that I love about Internet Marketing is that its always changing and just because you might have been something a year ago doesnt mean you know what you are doing today.

ok moving off that diatribe.

I was able to do some really terrific podcasts with some of the leaders in SEO and they will be posted on SearchMarketingStandard.com very soon. Below is a quick photo of me and the gang.
