Calling out an unethical link development tactic | .gov link acquisition

Posted by Joe Whyte at 5:18 pm to Link Development

Today I did a post on searchmarketingstandard.com about how to obtain .gov links which is an unethical link building tactic. This was done as an educational piece to help spread the knowledge of this technique which has helped create spam within the search engines. Check it out and help me spread the word.

  1. Nice tips, but aren’t you missing one critical point, if found out, don’t you take the risk of what is probably highly unethical and even downright illegal?

You may have hidden your IP, but isn’t your calling card left on the .gov site with the link pointing right back at you?

  3. Yes it is unethical and it sure does show a link back to the site who is doing this. The basis of this being unethical is exactly why I choose searchmarketingstandard.com to be the plateform for calling out this type of link technique. I wanted to raise awareness about this type of link development in order to do my part in eliminating spam and unethical black hat techniques..
